The thesis is concerned with surface treatments with application of furniture hardware. Furniture hardware is interacted by outsider factors which must be eliminate by proper part of surface. Befor surface treatment it self part of surface have to be clean. Surface treatment is choose in dependence on final look of part. Selected representative is door knob and product and technologic procedure of surface treatment are describe in this sample.

The aim of this work was to create an original and unique design of a door handles, which naturally fits into contemporary architectural space. Another goal was to create a project which could be realized in practice and would be successful in compares with mass produced handles.
